TOVA PESAH
Israeli artist Tova Pesah works in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, video art, collage and assemblage. She deals with images of animals, which she
personifies and charges with symbolic meaning inspired by characters from her personal life. In doing so, she seeks to point out the tension between human culture and wild nature, out of compassion and sensitivity towards nature. She claims that her art always has a certain therapeutical character. Her series 'Evergreen' reflects her interest in the relationship between man and the ecological environment, between the natural and the civilized. Pesach portrays plants originating from tropical forests that have undergone domestication, so that today they can be found in homes all over the world. Tova Pesach’s works have been presented in both solo and group exhibitions in Israel.
